I grew up in Ontario, as part of a family that highly valued sports. I loved competing in a variety of athletic activities – ultimately finding my solace in trail running when I was in high school.
When I pursued an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics, I discovered my passion for psychology. While I appreciated all aspects of the field, I took a particular interest in sports psychology.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of living in Vancouver, Sechelt and Squamish, raising an amazing daughter and son. My drive to understand the complexities of human life and my desire to help others led me to complete Gonzaga University’s Masters in Counselling, a Canadian on-site program.
I currently live in Rossland and spend my free time trail running (when not injured), cross-country and downhill skiing, and mountain biking.
